This article is specifically for those of you who aldready own a Xiaomi device or are planning to get one in the future. Well as all of us Xiaomi fans, we know how great phones Redmi offers in budget segment leaving a very less profit margin with themselves, probably due to which they started implementing Ads within the UI of these phones. MIUI has always been a great experience for users, and everyone loved the custom features untill Ads spoiled it all.
But now it's a great news for all users as now the company's Product Director and MIUI experience head has confirmed that they will be rolling out a switch option that will disable the ADs in the interface. This feature is currently under development and will be bought in a major update which seems to be MIUI 11.
The CEO and co-founder also said that apart from reducing advertisement spots in the UI, they will also focus on removing ads that are inappropriate and ruin user experience and they'll more likely show ads that are more relevant based upon the users interests.
Now lastly talking about the MIUI 11, it is in development and expected to launch on 24th September along with the Mi Mix 4.
